Middle Middle East, June 25 2026— The truck all others will be measured against: GMC today released an early look at the next‑generation 2027 GMC Sierra 1500, ahead of its expected arrival in the GCC in Summer 2027.
Designed for customers in this region who expect their truck to deliver capability, presence and premium refinement in equal measure, the next-generation Sierra 1500 raises the bar for what a premium truck can be. More Power Than Ever Before
With the introduction of the sixth-generation Small Block V8 engines in available 5.7L and 6.6L displacements, the 2027 GMC Sierra 1500 continues to offer one of the broadest powertrain lineups in the full-size pickup segment. The 2027 GMC Sierra 1500 will pair all available engines with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Engineered to deliver stronger performance, refinement and durability, the new V8s reflect GMC’s continued commitment to the power and dependability that truck customers in this region value most. Whether used for daily driving, weekend escapes or demanding off-road conditions, Sierra’s powertrain lineup is designed to meet a wide range of lifestyles and needs without compromise.
Premium Design & Craftsmanship
The 2027 Sierra 1500 introduces an all-new exterior with machine precision forms, and a more powerful stance on the road. Features include the evolution of the signature headlamps and taillamps with available welcome and farewell animations, GMC signature WOM lights, a more vertical grille, quad exhaust outlets, and other trim specific details provide the truck a bold, confident presence.
Inside, the new Sierra 1500 offers completely redesigned interiors across every trim level, with exclusive colorways, premium materials, and Sierra first innovations. Highlights include available panoramic sunroof, and best-in-class standard crew cab front head and leg room1, all-new MultiPro center console and more. The result is an elevated cabin that positions Sierra decisively upmarket without compromising durability or capability.
Class-Leading Technology
The next-generation Sierra 1500 introduces a more immersive and connected cabin experience, with a technology package designed to support confidence, convenience and control. Highlights include a new, largest in class 16.3-inch diagonal infotainment screen1, a first-ever 11.5-inch front passenger screen1, a new Bose Premium Series, audio system with 16-speakers including class-exclusive front head restraint mounted speakers2, new camera views3, and a variety of available drive modes, complemented by OnStar connectivity4, Google Built-In, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto5. At launch, Super Cruise6 driver-assistance technology will also be introduced on Denali & AT4X, bringing hands-free driving capability to two of Sierra’s most distinctive trims.
Next-Level Off-Road Capability
For adventure and unrelenting exploration, the 2027 Sierra 1500 AT4 and AT4X continue to build on GMC’s off‑road credentials with new hardware and function specifically chosen for the most demanding terrains.
Key highlights include: a Sierra-first 35” MT tires, 2” factory lift, new multimatic jounce control dampers, front and rear e-locking differentials to reinforce AT4 and AT4X as the trucks that can handle serious off-road use while still feeling refined on the drive home

The Full Sierra 1500 Lineup Arriving Summer 2027
The 2027 GMC Sierra 1500 lineup arriving in the region will include Elevation, AT4, AT4X and Denali, each offering a distinct combination of signature design, advanced technology and premium capability, specifically engineered to deliver a tailored experience aligned with how customers live, explore, and drive.
The first 2027 Sierra 1500 models are expected to arrive at GMC dealerships in the region in Summer 2027. Additional information, including full design, feature and performance details across the lineup, will be released closer to the vehicle’s on-sale date.
